Context

Gliquid's new points system was created to offer incentives where they really matter and open the doors to new communities.

The system is based on the user's own activity, and the basic requirement for accumulating points is through the generation of trading fees.

To participate in this system, you only need to create your LP and generate trading fees. Staking is not required.

Farming was possible and existed in Season 1, but was optimized and removed

Emissions

We will quickly explain how points are generated and distributed, for the complete math refer to the math

1. The base pool points per hour are generated depending on the pool's specific multiplier

2. Each user has a share (a part) of the pool fees depending on its personal fees

3. Your final points per hour obtained are proportional to your boosts, your shares, and the base pool points per hour

Season 1 balances are multiplied by a single scaling factor to align with the new hourly emission rate—no user action required.

It's very important to note points are based on hours, this means that doing an average of 24 hours to estimate your points won't work. This phenomena is also more explained in the math.

Boosts

There are different ways to obtain boosts, these are:

Referral Mechanics

Invitee	Permanent +15% boost on all points	$P_{\text{invitee}} = P_{\text{raw}}\times1.15$

• No limit on referrals.

• Referral link is created after one signature to prevent spam.

• Circular referral it's not allowed, if you create a referral link without being referred first and then try to use someone’s referral link you will not get the boost!

• Withdrawing your liquidity while the TVL Milestone has not been reached will make your wallet not be part of the top-up and distribution.
